| Obverse description | Uniformed bust of Chiang Kai-shek facing left, wearing a military tunic with a small collar insignia visible at the throat. The portrait is set within a broad field, flanked on both sides by vertical Chinese characters reading the date legend. The entire design is enclosed by a continuous decorative border of interlocking Greek-key (meander) pattern, executed in low relief against the rim. |

The design is framed by the same continuous Greek-key meander border as the obverse, consistent throughout this pattern series. |
