Obverse description Uniformed bust of Chiang Kai-shek facing left, wearing a military tunic with a small collar insignia visible at the throat. The portrait is set within a broad field, flanked on both sides by vertical Chinese characters reading the date legend. The entire design is enclosed by a continuous decorative border of interlocking Greek-key (meander) pattern, executed in low relief against the rim.

Obverse lettering 中華民國二十五年
(Translation: Year 25 of the Republic of China)
Reverse description Central field dominated by a large stylized representation of an ancient Chinese bronze spade coin (bu bi), rendered in bold relief with incuse detailing at its center. To the left of the spade motif appears the character 圓 (yuan) and to the right the character 壹 (one), together reading 壹圓 (One Yuan). The design is framed by the same continuous Greek-key meander border as the obverse, consistent throughout this pattern series.
