| Obverse description | Portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-sen in an oval guilloche vignette at left, rendered in fine intaglio engraving. The bank title 廣東省銀行 appears in the upper right, with the denomination 壹圓 in a central ornate cartouche flanked by elaborate guilloche scrollwork. Corner rosettes carry the character 壹, and the date inscription 中華民國三十八年 is printed along the lower border. |
