Reverse description The reverse displays a finely detailed, coiled Chinese imperial dragon in high relief at the centre of the field, facing forward with its head raised and body curling in a full circle, surrounded by clouds and flame motifs rendered with considerable sculptural depth. The dragon's scales, claws, and whiskers are crisply delineated, reflecting the skilled craftsmanship characteristic of a presentation pattern strike. Two small sunburst or rosette ornaments flank the dragon at the sides of the field. The circumferential legend, in Latin characters, reads HEI LUNG KIANG PROVINCE at the top and 7 MACE AND 2 CANDAREENS at the bottom, separated by the ornamental devices. A beaded border encloses the entire composition.
