| Obverse description | Central field bears four large Chinese characters arranged in a cruciform pattern reading 光緒元寶 (Guangxu Yuanbao), with faint Manchu script visible in the central area. The outer ring carries the provincial legend 浙江省造 (Made in Chekiang Province) at the top and the denomination 庫平七錢二分 (Worth 7 Mace and 2 Candareens, Kuping standard) at the bottom, all in Chinese characters. Small decorative rosettes appear at the left and right sides of the outer legend band. The entire design is contained within a beaded inner circle and a toothed outer border, consistent with late Qing dynasty milled coinage style. |
