| Obverse description | Central field displays the four-character legend 光緒元寶 (Guangxu Yuanbao) arranged around a central decorative floral and vase motif within a beaded inner circle. The outer legend reads 吉林省造 (Made in Kirin Province) across the top, with the cyclical date characters 丙午 (year 43, 1906) flanking the sides, and the denomination 庫平七錢二分 (Worth 7 Mace and 2 Candareens, Kuping standard) along the lower arc. Manchu script flanks the central device at left and right within the inner circle. The entire design is enclosed within a toothed outer border. |
