Obverse description Central field bears four large Chinese ideograms arranged vertically in two columns, reading right to left then top to bottom, identifying the denomination and issuing authority. Above the central inscription, a horizontal band of Manchu script denotes the reign title and regnal year. Below the central ideograms, additional Chinese characters complete the legend. Decorative floral sprays flank the central inscription on both sides, rendered in fine relief. The overall layout is formal and symmetrical, consistent with Qing imperial monetary conventions.
