Reverse description A large multi-rayed sunburst radiates from a central raised disc, filling the inner field of the coin. Surrounding the sunburst in a circular arrangement are alternating imperial chrysanthemum rosettes and paulownia branch emblems, rendered in high relief. Eight chrysanthemum seals and eight paulownia sprigs alternate in pairs to form a continuous decorative wreath around the central motif. The entire design is framed by an outer toothed border with no inscriptions or legends, presenting a purely symbolic and heraldic composition.
