Obverse description Central field features a finely detailed coiled Korean imperial dragon rendered in high relief, its sinuous body encircling the design with scaled texture and dramatic foliate flame ornaments. The dragon's head faces left with an open mouth and prominent horns, rendered in a style consistent with late Joseon court iconography. The central motif is enclosed within an inner beaded circle, beyond which Hanja and Hangul legends are distributed around the periphery. The Latin denomination '1 YANG' appears in the lower segment of the outer legend, between two bullet-point stops. The entire design is bounded by an outer toothed or milled border.
