| Obverse description | Frontal half-length figure of St. Peter (Petrus) in Gothic architectural frame, depicted in episcopal vestments with a halo, raising his right hand in blessing and holding a cross-staff in his left; flanking architectural elements suggest a Gothic canopy or niche setting. The saint's effigy is rendered in the late medieval Gothic style typical of Rhenish ecclesiastical coinage.
