| Reverse description | The elaborately quartered Royal Saxon coat of arms occupies the centre of the field, supported on either side by a rampant lion facing inward, each rendered in fine detail. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown. Below the escutcheon, a decorative scroll cartouche bears the motto PROVIDENTIAE MEMOR, with the Order of the Rue Crown pendant beneath it. The circular legend EIN VEREINSTHALER XXX EIN PFUND FEIN runs around the upper periphery within a beaded border, and the date 1861 appears in the lower field. |
