| Obverse description | Central device features the Venezuelan coat of arms, depicting a quartered shield with a sheaf of wheat, crossed flags and arms, and a galloping horse in the lower section, all surmounted by a cornucopia of tropical fruits and flora. The shield is flanked by an olive branch to the left and a palm frond to the right, with two scrolled ribbons below inscribed with the dates and mottoes of Venezuelan independence.
