Obverse description Plain field bearing a single Brahmi or early Nagari syllabic character, likely representing the royal initial 'Va' (for Vanamalavarman), rendered in bold strokes at the centre of the flan. The inscription is the sole design element, occupying the majority of the flat, unadorned field. The flan is irregular and lightly patinated, consistent with cast or crudely hammered copper coinage of early medieval Assam.
Obverse script Brahmi

Reverse description Completely plain and uninscribed reverse, with no devices, legends, or decorative elements present. The flat field shows natural patination and surface irregularities typical of hammered copper coinage from early medieval northeastern India. The blank reverse is characteristic of the minimalist coinage tradition associated with the Mlechchha rulers of Assam.
