Obverse description Elephant depicted in right profile with trunk raised, rendered in a bold, archaic style characteristic of early Satavahana civic coinage. A prominent Nandipada symbol and a triangular-headed device appear in the field alongside the elephant. A Brahmi legend reading 'Siri Satkarni' is inscribed above the central motif. The design is executed in low relief on an irregular square flan typical of cast potin issues from the Vidarbha region.
