Obverse description Draped bust of Artemis facing right, wearing a stephane or diadem adorned with a bow-and-quiver ornament atop her head, her hair pulled back in a characteristic Hellenistic coiffure. The portrait is rendered in a bold, provincial style typical of Bosporan bronze coinage of the late 1st century BC. A dotted border or wreath border frames the design along the coin's edge.
