Obverse description Heavily corroded and darkened irregular flan displaying an indistinct central device, likely a stylized royal or deity motif characteristic of Pallava coinage of the 7th century AD. The surface shows deep patination and encrustation consistent with potin alloy burial finds. Design elements are largely obscured by corrosion, though faint relief traces are visible in the central field. The coin exhibits the crude, hand-struck fabric typical of early South Indian dynastic issues under Narasimhavarman I.
