Reverse description Central châtel tournois design featuring the stylized city symbol of Tours, rendered as a turreted tower within a beaded inner circle. Twelve fleurs-de-lis are arranged radially in the surrounding annulus, with a rosette substituted for one lily at the top of the design. The circular legend TVRONVS CIVIS runs along the outer border, the whole composition derived from the Capetian gros tournois prototype.
