| Obverse description | Central field displays the Imperial Iranian arms: a passant lion rampant facing left, brandishing an upraised sword in its right forepaw, set before a radiant rising sun whose rays fan outward across the field. A Pahlavi crown surmounts the composition at the top. The lion and sun device is flanked by two decorative branches — an olive branch to the left and an oak branch to the right — joined at the base by a ribbon bow, forming a wreath. The Solar Hijri date ۱۳۰۵ appears in Persian numerals below the lion in the lower field, within the wreath. |
