Reverse description Central field displays a multi-line Persian calligraphic legend in nasta'liq script set within a geometric interlaced cartouche of pointed-star form, typical of Qajar mint design. The legend records the mint name Tabaristan (Sari) and the AH regnal year. The cartouche is surrounded by a plain inner circle and an outer border of raised beads consistent with the obverse treatment.
