Obverse description Facing bust of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar at center, depicted in formal royal attire with a tall kulah crown adorned with a floral ornament at the summit. The Shah wears a heavily decorated military tunic with orders and medals visible on his chest. Arabic inscription to the left reads 'جلوس' (accession) with the regnal year '١٢٦٤' below, and the mint date '١٣١١' appears to the right. The portrait is rendered in a naturalistic European-influenced engraving style characteristic of late Qajar coinage. The field is smooth with no additional decorative border.
