Obverse description Central field bears a two-line Persian legend in nastaliq script enclosed within a decorative square cartouche, reading 'Shah of Prophets, Muhammad' at top and 'Struck in Tehran the Capital' at bottom, with the AH mint date below. The cartouche is set within a plain field surrounded by a beaded border. The overall composition is characteristic of the Qajar hammered coinage tradition, with the inscription serving as the primary design element in lieu of a portrait.
