Obverse description Left-facing bust of Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar rendered in high relief, depicted wearing a traditional Qajar astrakhan kolah (fur hat) topped with a feathered aigrette, and a formal military uniform with epaulettes and decorative orders. The portrait is engraved in a naturalistic, European-influenced style consistent with late Qajar court aesthetics. To the left and right of the effigy appear the Arabic numerals ۱ and ۳۲۷, constituting the AH date 1327, while the engraver's initials 'A.M.' appear below the bust. The coin is bordered by a fine dentilated rim.
