Reverse description The reverse presents a bold nastaliq calligraphic legend arranged in three registers within a beaded inner circle, giving the mint and regnal date. Elaborate foliate and floral scroll-work fills the field between the inscription lines, consistent with the refined Qajar decorative idiom of the early nineteenth century. An outer border of evenly spaced raised beads encircles the entire design, framing the composition against the irregular hammered rim. The lower register of the central field bears the AH date numerals (e.g. ۱۲۳۳), and a small decorative cartouche or floral motif appears beneath the date line. The overall engraving quality is crisp and deeply struck, reflecting the skilled die-cutting of the Tehran mint workshop.
