Reverse description Central field bears a multi-line Nasta'liq calligraphic inscription recording the mint name and epithet 'Dar al-Surur Borujerd' (the happiness-abode of Borujerd), followed by four repetitions of the divine invocation 'Hu' (هو), and the AH regnal date. The entire legend is contained within a beaded inner circle, with a secondary beaded border running along the outer periphery of the flan, consistent with the hammered production technique of the Qajar mint at Borujerd.
