Reverse description Standing figure of Victory facing left, advancing in a dynamic pose and holding a wreath in the right hand and a globus cruciger or palm branch in the left, closely imitating the standard late Roman tremissis reverse type. The figure is rendered in a simplified, somewhat stylized manner reflecting Germanic imitative workmanship. A star appears in the right field. The surrounding legend, a barbarized rendering of VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM and the Constantinople mint signature, encircles the type, though lettering is garbled and partially degenerate. The exergue retains vestigial traces of the CONOB gold purity and mint mark formula.
