Reverse description A large plain cross with equal arms divides the reverse field into four quarters, each containing a small lozenge or pellet ornament. The design is enclosed within a double legend band separated by beaded borders, presenting a continuous devotional inscription invoking the name of Christ in abbreviated Latin. The cross motif follows the standard Tournose Groschen type derived from the French gros tournois, adapted for Rhenish ecclesiastical use.
