| Obverse description | Multi-line Arabic legend occupying the central field, giving the name and titles of Khan Abdulaziz, Sultan, together with the Hijri regnal year 1292, rendered in bold calligraphic script with floral rosette ornaments interspersed among the letters. The legend is enclosed within a dotted inner border forming a segmented or dotted circle, itself surrounded by a characteristic teardrop-and-bead decorative border that fills the broad outer margin of the flan. |
