Reverse description Crowned oval coat of arms of Hesse-Cassel, quartered and bearing the arms of the landgraviate, supported on either side by a rampant lion, the whole set upon a decorative mantle and platform with the Order of the Garter motto HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE inscribed on the surrounding belt. The date 1787 appears in the exergue below, flanked by the mint letters F·H and a small orb privy mark. The circular legend in the field reads X EINE FEINE MARCK BIBERER SILBER, denoting the silver fineness and the Bieber mine origin of the metal.
