Reverse description The reverse displays the denomination in three bold horizontal lines across the centre of the field: the Roman numeral 'I' above the word 'THALER', followed by the date '1835' beneath. The peripheral legend, set between two beaded borders, reads XIV EINE FEINE MARK along the upper arc and FEINES SILBER along the lower arc, collectively affirming the coin's fineness as one-fourteenth of a fine Cologne Mark in pure silver. The plain field surrounding the central inscription gives the design a stark, typographic character consistent with contemporary German Thaler coinage.
