| Reverse description | Ornate baroque crowned and mantled achievement of arms, quartering the arms of Paderborn and Pyrmont, with an inescutcheon of the Asseburg family at the center. The shield is superimposed upon a crossed sword and crozier, the traditional symbols of temporal and spiritual authority. The mintmaster's initials and the date 1766 appear divided in the field to either side of the arms. A decorative motto ribbon below bears the legend IUSTE ET CONSTANTER, while the full bishop's titulature and fineness statement appear in the surrounding legend. |
