Reverse description Ornate baroque crowned and mantled achievement of arms, quartering the arms of Paderborn and Pyrmont, with an inescutcheon of the Asseburg family at the center. The shield is superimposed upon a crossed sword and crozier, the traditional symbols of temporal and spiritual authority. The mintmaster's initials and the date 1766 appear divided in the field to either side of the arms. A decorative motto ribbon below bears the legend IUSTE ET CONSTANTER, while the full bishop's titulature and fineness statement appear in the surrounding legend.
