Reverse description The quartered coat of arms of Anhalt-Bernburg, surmounted by a princely crown, occupies the central field. The shield displays the multiple heraldic quarterings of the Anhalt dynastic territories including the bear of Anhalt, the eagle of Ascania, and other armorial devices. The date 17-46 is divided across the field to either side of the shield, with the mint officials' initials H·C and R·F flanking the lower portion. The circular legend around the periphery gives the ruler's full titulature and the standard reference to the Leipzig monetary convention.
