| Obverse description | Central shield of the Bishopric of Eichstätt — bearing three passant lions — displayed within a circular inner legend reading FORTIS CONCORDIA NEXUS, and surrounded by a wreath-linked ring of fifteen smaller heraldic shields representing the cathedral chapter canons. The mint initials M and F flank the date 1757 at the base of the central shield. The outer peripheral legend CAPITULUM REGNANS SEDE VACANTE runs along the upper arc, while the fineness statement 10 EINE FEINE MARCK is inscribed along the lower arc, all within a finely reeded border. |
