Reverse description A central cluster of five large heraldic shields arranged in a quincunx pattern, each bearing the arms of a member city or canton of the associated regiment, surrounded by a beaded inner border. An outer ring of twenty-two smaller shields, each displaying the arms of further associated imperial cities and territories, fills the broad border between the inner and outer beaded rims. The composition is entirely armorial with no legend, presenting an impressive display of collective civic heraldry in the style of early seventeenth-century German municipal coinage.
