Obverse description Three-quarter armored bust of Count Philip V of Hanau-Lichtenberg facing slightly left, depicted wearing full plate armor with an elaborately ruffled lace collar visible at the neck; the Count bears a short beard. The figure is rendered in high relief in the late Renaissance style, occupying most of the coin's field.
