Reverse description Ornate quartered coat of arms displaying the combined heraldic bearings of Hanau and Lichtenberg, with a central escutcheon bearing the arms of Ochsenstein. Two elaborate crested helmets with mantling are displayed above the shield. The entire armorial composition is richly detailed in the German Renaissance heraldic tradition. The Latin motto legend is distributed around the periphery of the field, separated by star-shaped ornaments.
