Obverse description Quartered coat of arms of the Fugger family displayed on an ornate shield, the four quarters bearing alternating fleurs-de-lis and tridents, surmounted by an elaborate foliate crest with helm and mantling. The date is divided by the shield, with digits appearing to either side. The whole is encircled by a beaded inner ring within the peripheral legend.
