Obverse description Armored bust of Archduke Maximilian III of Austria facing right, wearing an elaborate lace ruff collar and a mantle adorned with the cross of the Teutonic Order on his chest. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the facial hair and armor. The bust is encircled by a laurel wreath border, outside of which runs the Latin legend in two parts separated by the date 1614, with the mintmaster's mark 'Co' visible in the lower field. The outermost border is formed by a continuous beaded rim.
