Obverse description Draped bust of Maximilian III facing right, wearing a ruffled collar, set within a beaded or leafed inner circle. The Teutonic Order cross is displayed on the breast. The date 1618 is divided in the fields flanking the bust, with the mintmaster initials CO appearing below. The base of the bust interrupts the encircling Latin legend, which reads for Maximilian by the Grace of God Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Styria, and Carniola, commencing at 12 o'clock.
