| Obverse description | Armored and crowned half-length effigy of Emperor Maximilian II facing right, his right hand resting on the pommel of a sword. The portrait is rendered in high relief within an inner circle, with a rosette positioned at the top of the border. The encircling Latin legend is interrupted at the base by the Prague mintmark. The overall style reflects the Renaissance portrait tradition of the Habsburg imperial coinage. |
