| Obverse description | Draped bust of Louis Günther II, Prince of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, facing right, rendered in high relief in the late Baroque style with elaborate period dress including a lace jabot and epaulette-trimmed coat. The hair is dressed in the fashionable powdered wig style of the era. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading from the lower left and continuing around the upper field, with a fine beaded border encircling the entire design. |

| Reverse description | Plain field bearing an eight-line commemorative inscription in Latin, arranged in centered lines across the coin's face, recording the auspicious marriage between Hereditary Prince Friedrich Karl of Schwarzburg and Louise Frederica of Saxe-Gotha, celebrated at Rudolstadt on 28 November 1780. A small ornamental rosette device appears above the uppermost line of text and again below the final line, providing decorative framing. Below a horizontal rule separating the main inscription, the fineness standard 'X·EINE FEINE MARK·' and the engraver's initials 'I.C.K.' are inscribed. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
