| Obverse description | Draped bust of Louis Günther II facing right, depicted in a powdered wig with elaborate lace jabot and armored shoulder, rendered in high relief in the late Baroque style. The effigy occupies the majority of the field, with fine engraving detail on the hair curls and clothing. The circumferential legend in Latin runs along the entire border, separated from the bust by a beaded inner rim. The coin exhibits attractive iridescent toning consistent with an 18th-century silver issue. |

| Reverse description | Quartered heraldic shield of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt set within an elaborate Baroque cartouche of scrolling acanthus foliage, surmounted by a princely crown with cross finial. The date 1768 is divided at the base of the shield, flanked by the mintmaster's initials I.C.K. An ornate floral or Order cross device appears at the very base below the cartouche, dividing the date elements. The legend arcing across the upper field denotes the coin's silver fineness standard of ten thalers to the fine mark. |
