Obverse description Elaborately ornamented nine-fold coat of arms of Anhalt-Köthen, quartered and impaled with multiple heraldic charges, displayed centrally within the field. The shield is surmounted by three ornate helmets bearing crests, the central crest featuring crossed bones and a crown, flanked by additional heraldic supporters. The date 1650 is divided across the field to either side of the shield. A continuous circular legend in German Gothic script surrounds the entire composition within a beaded border.
