| Reverse description | An elaborate ornate cross, often described as a cross fleurée or cross of Frankfurt, dominates the central field without an inner border. The four arms of the cross terminate in decorative foliate or fleur-de-lis flourishes, and the overall composition is rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail. The circular legend NOMEN DOMINI TURRIS FORTISSIMA, a biblical motto meaning 'The name of the Lord is a most strong tower,' runs along the toothed rim. No exergue line is present, and the date appears integrated within the legend at the top of the coin. |
