Reverse description Ornate eight-fold quartered coat of arms displayed on an elaborate baroque shield, surmounted by three ornate crested helmets with flowing mantling. The date 1623 is divided among the helmets above the shield. The heraldic charges within the quarters include lions passant and other dynastic devices of the Brunswick-Lüneburg line. The two-part Latin motto legend is separated by a dash and runs along the toothed inner border of the coin.
