| Reverse description | A large, elaborately quartered heraldic shield bearing the manifold arms of the Hohenzollern Margrave of Brandenburg and Duke of Jägerndorf, framed by ornate acanthus-leaf mantling. Three ornate crested helmets surmount the shield, the central one bearing a prominent crest. The entire armorial composition is set within a beaded inner circle, with the Latin ducal title legend arranged in the outer margin, divided by the shield on either side. |

| Additional information |
Jägerndorf passed to Margrave John George of Brandenburg in 1606 under Hohenzollern administration of the Silesian duchy, a tenure that would prove short-lived — the duchy was confiscated by the Habsburgs in 1621 following John George's support for the Bohemian revolt. Thalers from his rule are consequently scarce, minted across roughly fifteen years before imperial sequestration ended the Brandenburg minting authority there entirely.
