Reverse description The elaborate quartered arms of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, set within an oval baroque cartouche and surmounted by a princely crown, occupy the central field. Two wild men (Wildmänner) serve as supporters, each holding a staff entwined with foliage, flanking the shield on either side. Below the shield, a Maltese cross ornament decorates the base of the composition, beneath which the mintmaster's initials IC·E and the date 1765 are inscribed. The arc legend X·EINE FEINE MARCK curves above, indicating the coin's fineness and weight standard. The entire design is executed in the Baroque idiom with rich sculptural detail and a milled border.
