Obverse description Armored draped bust of Johann Caspar von Ampringen facing right, wearing plate armor with decorative gorget and flowing long hair. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, running along the inner border of the milled edge. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail on the armor and facial features, in the baroque style characteristic of the period.
