Reverse description A large nine-fold heraldic achievement occupying the central field, composed of the quartered and impaled arms of the Principality of Anhalt and its constituent lordships, with three crested helms displayed above the shield, the central helm surmounted by a crown and elaborate mantling. The mintmaster's initials appear in the field, and the date is incorporated within the legend or field. A two-part Latin devotional legend encircles the entire composition within a beaded border, invoking divine will.
