Reverse description Elaborate baroque heraldic composition featuring a Spanish-shaped quartered shield bearing the arms of Paderborn and Pyrmont, with an escutcheon of pretence displaying the arms of Wolff-Metternich, the whole superimposed upon a saltire of a crossed sword and a pastoral crozier. Four ornately mantled and crested helmets surmount the shield, and the date 1684 is divided on either side of the central composition. The motto PROVIDE ET IVSTE appears in the lower portion of the field, with the full titulature legend arranged around the periphery.
