Obverse description Central field dominated by a large, elaborately quartered coat of arms of the Duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, incorporating multiple heraldic elements including lions rampant, a horse, and various dynastic quarterings, surmounted by a crowned helmet with mantling. Two wild men (Wildmen) serve as supporters flanking the shield on either side. The circular Latin legend runs along the outer border within a beaded inner circle, identifying the ruler as Henry Julius, Duke of Brunswick and Lüneburg and Bishop of Halberstadt.
