Reverse description The reverse displays a complex heraldic composition featuring the manifold quartered arms of the County of Stolberg-Wernigerode, with the mintmaster's initials HB divided on either side of the shield. Three ornately decorated crested helmets rise above the escutcheon, each surmounted by its respective heraldic crest. The date 1659 is distributed among the crests. The encircling Latin legend continues the titulature of the count, referencing his lordships over Eppstein, Münzenberg, Breuberg, Lora, and Klettenberg, punctuated by ornamental stops.
